Eligibility
- Applicant must be a child or dependent of a currently employed Sugar Land Fire Department Firefighter and/or Sugar Land Police Department Officer in good standing.
- Applicant must be a high school graduate or have a GED.
- Applicant must not have been convicted of a felony or currently charged with any crime.
- Applicant must be enrolled full-time (at least 12 credit hours, or full-time as defined by your school) at an accredited college, university, or vocational school.
- Applicant may reapply for a second year. Scholarships may only be received for two years.
